I’ve been watching a lot of Midsomer Murders lately. Truth be told, I’ve always watched a lot of Midsomer Murders, I come from a murder family and British murders are top notch. But lately I’ve been in the county of Midsomer, in which there are so many murders it’s shocking that anyone is still alive, and I’ve noticed a pattern. A good 80% of the murders are a result of kids who are just too close to the nest. 40-year-old sons still trying to impress their fathers. 25-year-old daughters killing half the village to avenge some slight their mothers suffered 45 years ago. Most of these murders could have been avoided if the kids had just moved out of the house at 18. So the lesson is, get a life and a job outside of the family business and nobody has to die.
And don’t move to Midsomer, life expectancy there is extremely low.
In other news, next year we should all watch the Nickelodeon Super Bowl. That was a good time. My very first real life NFL game was a Chiefs game in Kansas City so I’m happy. And Tay Tay deserves to win. And can we lay off of her carbon footprint? Can you imagine Taylor in the Delta terminal of JFK? We’re all better off with her flying private.
We had a freak snowstorm in Southern AZ this week. It was magical, and all melted by 2pm.
What to do
Watch:
The Oscars are March 10. Catch up.
Netflix has decided to block me from the account I pay for unless I log in from my LA home once a month and perform some complicated witchcraft. So this is the end of my Netflix relationship. I have had a Netflix account since the DVDs. Not anymore. So if you’re looking for reviews of Netflix shows, you’ll have to look elsewhere. I’ll be covering the 200 other streamers.
Listen:
True Crime Obsessed (podcast)- I do not like these people. I could not be friends with them. They have so little experience of the world that it sometimes physically hurts. They are not very smart. But their recaps of true crime documentaries are funny and it’s been an easy listen as I’ve been building garden beds, organizing a garage, and generally working myself to the bone trying to turn this house into a home.

I love this article and will always be sad that I did something terrible in a past life and my punishment was being born straight.
