FYI: We Solved Climate Change
Good news
So… it turns out we solved climate change. Like, a long time ago. It turns out there are these rocks in Oman that suck up carbon dioxide and turn it into pretty minerals. A lot of rocks. So all we have to do is suck the CO2 out of the air, drill deep holes in the rocks, and put the air in the holes. Easy. We just need bigger air sucky thingies. So, all is well. The children can stop marching and we can start crushing styrofoam again. Don’t believe me? WE HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS FOR YEARS.
I can’t stop thinking about this.
In other news, the Durst trial is hilarious. The prosecutor, John Lewin, is a huge dick. The dickiest dick of all time. Durst is a serial killer. BUT, he’s a rich, sick, septuagenarian serial killer. He knows he’s going to die any day now. And he, justifiably, hates Lewin. So he is just being ridiculous on the stand. Making up lies off the top of his head. Being snarky AF. Rolling his eyes at the jury. He knows he’s guilty. He knows we know he’s guilty. He doesn’t care. He’s about to die. He’s only here to make Lewin look like an asshole. I highly recommend keeping up with the drama. I’m listening to this podcast.
The motorcycle adventures are going ok. It was a slow week. I own a hydraulic lift now, which is exciting. And also so many tools. If there’s a Pep Boys near you, stop by. They’re going out of business and everything is 40% off. This is why I now own a giant set of torque wrenches.

Outer Banks (Netflix)- Everyone is talking about this show so I decided to watch it. It’s a melodramatic teen drama about a lot of kids with boats. I love the boats. Watch it so you know what everyone is talking about.
100 Foot Wave (HBO Max)- Surfing is so much more complicated than we think.
The Grand Tour: Lochdown (Amazon Prime)- I’m sure I’ve talked about how much I love Jeremy Clarkson and the guys. I adored Top Gear and when the BBC made the ridiculous decision to fire them (don’t @ me, that guy deserved to be punched) I was thrilled when Amazon took them on. I’ve been watching their special episodes for years and the latest one is just as great as they all are because it’s Clarkson and the guys on a ridiculous adventure that I desperately want to join.

Dirty John (podcast)- A friend told me the other night that she had just discovered Dirty John and not from me. This is a massive oversight and I apologize. Dirty John is… one of the most popular podcasts of all time. One of the most frustrating podcasts of all time. One of the most Orange County podcasts of all time. If you have not heard it yet, now is the time.
Harry Potter on Audiobook- A different friend of mine (I have friends!) recently informed me that the HP audiobooks are amazing so this now what I’ll be listening to on my future flights. But of course they’re amazing. It’s Harry.
The Rolling Stones- Charlie Watts just died. Show some respect.
