We've run out of true crime
So I guess COVID has to end now.
It’s official. I have seen every true crime documentary and listened to every true crime podcast. So we either need more murders or COVID has to end.
Speaking of murders, this is too horrifying for jokes.
This week in my photography class I was lucky to get to hear the incredible photographer Safi Alia Shabaik speak about her work and her incredible moving and heartbreaking project, documenting her father’s decline into Parkinson’s. I really recommend reading about her work and checking out her website.

Nomadland (Hulu)- It’s perfect and deserves all the Oscars.
Allen v Farrow (HBO)- This is a tough one but as we all know if you are a man who makes good movies YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH LITERALLY ANYTHING.
Behind Her Eyes (Netflix)- You guys. This show… just cancel everything, pick up some snacks, and prepare for a slow burning psychological thriller that, I promise you, does not end like you think it will. And then ping me if you want to start a Behind Her Eyes club where we just read the book and watch the show and talk about it over and over again forever.

Norco ‘80 (podcast). So apparently people were robbing banks daily in LA in the 70s because we have cars here. They were usually not a big deal. Then some dudes robbed a bank in Norco. It all went terribly wrong. And now we have police officers with tanks and machine guns. Thanks, guys.
