Are you all watching this trial? It is both terrible and hilarious. I really wanted Trump to represent himself but it turns out the lawyers he found at the last minute by calling a number on a park bench are almost as entertaining. I went to law school. I passed the bar. That did not help me understand a single thing that Abbott and Costello said yesterday. But I did get a lesson in drinking water.
Well that’s not true, I have learned a few lessons:
It’s ok to do crimes at your jobs if you’re quitting next week.
It’s totally cool to have your accomplices in your jury.
Nebraska.
Republicans really cannot get a handle on the whole water drinking thing.
In other news, I have news! I signed with literary agent Monika Woods at Triangle House and now have to actually write a book! She already gave me homework. This may have been a mistake. But I’m in it now. Thanks so much to everyone reading this who gave me great advice or smiled and nodded while I fretted over multiple text messages.
In other other news, we’re putting on a fundraiser for Syndey Kamlager, future only black woman in the California State Senate, on the 15th. I may have already told you this. Too bad, I’m telling you again. You can register here. It is free, but I will ask you for money at the end. Come!

Read:
Javanka made $640 million while they were in the White House.
Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz- Currently reading this with my book club. It’s like if an episode of Midsomer Murders was a book. Also, watch Midsomer Murders.
Accidentally Wes Anderson- This delightful book and instagram account is photos of places around the world that look like they’re off the set of a Wes Anderson movie. It’s wonderful and will give you lost of places to add to your post-COVID travel list.
